 Get your finances in shape and build a stronger future for your family.  This is a FREE event sponsored by Virginia Jump$tart and local community partners.  (Preregistration is not required.)

At Financial Fitness Fair, you can:

• Attend Free workshops to help you save more! 
• Test your financial knowledge with games and activities for children and adults
• Enter drawings for door prizes.
• Get a copy of your credit report.
• Get your taxes completed for free if you have less than $50,000 in gross income, do not itemize deductions, capital gains, education credits, 1099-MISC, or are self-employed. See list of documents needed. 

What to bring to a FREE Tax Prep Site:   

* Photo Identification 

*Social Security card or ITIN card for each family member 

*W-2, W-2G, and 1099-R forms for all jobs worked in 2011

* Unemployment Compensation, form 1099-G 

* Child care provider name, address, and tax ID number 

* A copy of last year’s state and federal tax returns (if available) 

*All other tax related documents 

*All banking account information (including a voided check or savings deposit               slip) to directly deposit your refund 

*If you are married filing jointly, both spouses must come to sign the return

The workshop will help participants begin to assess energy costs and build tangible savings into their household budgets.
